DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATIONS

Domain names are renewable every year - just like a car licence

• Choose a Domain name for your web address so that we can do a search and see if it is available.
• Try to choose a domain name that includes the type of service you offer.
• We will guide you in the choice of name.
• We register the domain name for you (private individuals cannot do this - only a hosting company can register the domain name for you)
• We send you an annual invoice for the domain name registration.
• Should this invoice not be paid by due date, your website will be suspended by co.za or .com. After a short grace period, the domain name will become available for anyone else who is interested, to register.
• Once your domain name has been suspended, all emails arising from that domain name will cease to function.
• It is vitally important therefore, that domain name renewals be paid promptly. Your hosting company has no say over Coza or .com (or any other domain name)

• Hosting fees are to cover the costs for renting a space on the hosting company's server which makes your website available to be viewed by others on the Internet. A web host provides space on its server, so that other computers around the world can access your website by means of a network or modem. With paid hosting, you pay a fee for space and services on a web hosting provider's server. Monthly fees can vary greatly. Obviously, the more you pay, the more features you should have at your disposal.
